Let's learn more about my super sweet Twitter Tuesday Buddy!!
What was your initial goal for your blog when you first began, and how has that changed today?
Tracy: I actually started my blog in 2007 but I really didn’t give it very much
attention. And then in July of 2010 I made a commitment to myself to start
posting outfit photos. I wanted to do this because I’m a fashion consultant and
I wanted potential clients to see that I am just a regular gal that mixes up my
wardrobe and finds great looks from things that everyone has in their closets. Also
that it’s not that hard to look put together. The only thing that’s changed is
that I had no idea the blogger community that I would encounter. I’ve made so
many wonderful friends doing this. What a bonus!
Where do you draw your fashion inspiration from?
Tracy: From other women. I’m inspired by how women on the streets dress with their personal touches. I think, “Oh, awesome outfit. I have all those pieces in my closet!” And now, my blogging sisters inspire me daily as well.

What is your favorite piece of clothing/jewelry and why?
Tracy: My favorite clothing is my boyfriend jeans. I just love to be
comfortable. You can look dressed up or like a slouchy bum in these babies!
LOVE them.
How many hours a day/week do you spend working on your blog?
Tracy: I’ve never quantified it. I will take a guess
and say that I spend about 10 hours or more a week.
Where is your favorite place to shop?
Tracy: I have a lot of faves. They go from Target and Old Navy to J Crew and Nordstrom. But I like a bargain. I rarely pay full price for anything. So, I do lots of searching online for deals. I shop with Gilt for those high end designer pieces without paying crazy prices for them.

What "must haves" will you be adding to your Spring wardrobe?
Tracy: Floral sundress, white jeans, hot pink pleated hi-lo skirt, bright
purple t-strap sandals.
Do you have any advice for new bloggers who are just getting started?
Tracy:
If you have a career besides blogging, what do you do?
Tracy: I work a 9-5 job at a local university. That’s
my steady income. On the side I run my own fashion consulting business called
The Closet Shopper.
Please share with us something we would never guess about you. IE; a favorite hobby, a talent, a quirky habit:
Tracy: Aerial acrobats. I’ve been doing
circus arts for 8 years. I also perform whenever possible.
Where did the name for your blog derive from?
Tracy:
The name The Closet Shopper came from living
on a budget and not being able to do a lot of shopping. I would clean out my
closet regularly and by doing so I would discover lots of hidden treasures and
“new to me” outfits. So, I called it ‘going shopping in my closet” Whenever my
sister came to visit me, she would always say, “Can I go shopping in your
closet?” When I was setting up my consulting business and I was looking for a
name, The Closet Shopper seemed appropriate since that’s what I do when I come
to my clients homes and go through their closets to find awesome looks for them
with their current wardrobe.
Describe your personal style?
Tracy: I would say that I’m a casual glamour girl. I love to mix casual pieces
with fancy more dressy pieces. Someone once told me that my style was classy comfort.
I like that. I think it describes me perfectly.
Where do you see yourself in 2 years?
Tracy:
I’m hoping to be able to quit my day job and focus mainly on my fashion
consulting business. That’s my ultimate goal.Tracy:
Thank you so much Tracy, for allowing me to feature you as my Twitter Tuesday Friend:)
